Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Voxly Android app. By installing or using Voxly, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What Voxly does
Voxly is a voice changer and audio toolkit: voice effects with live preview, text-to-speech, noise reduction, and speed control. Core features are free and supported by advertising; an optional paid Pro subscription unlocks additional effects and removes ads.
2. Acceptable use
- Use Voxly only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws. If you are under the age of majority in your country, use the app (and any Pro purchase) only with a parent or guardian involved.
- Do not use Voxly to deceive, harass, impersonate, or harm others, including creating misleading recordings of real people.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the app, circumvent Pro access, or misuse feedback and support channels.
- You are responsible for the content you create and share with the app.
3. Your content
Audio you record, import, or generate stays on your device unless you choose to share or save it elsewhere. You keep all rights to your own content. Voxly claims no ownership over anything you create.
4. Subscriptions and Pro
- Pro is offered as auto-renewing monthly and yearly subscriptions, purchased exclusively through Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and vary by region; applicable taxes may apply.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each period unless cancelled. Manage, pause, or cancel at any time in Google Play (Account → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). Cancellation stops future charges; the current paid period remains active until it ends.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies.
- Pro status is verified on-device against your Google Play purchase; restoring purchases re-checks the same record. If a subscription lapses, Pro features revert to the free experience.
5. Free version and advertising
The free version of Voxly displays ads served by Google AdMob, including rewarded ads you may watch voluntarily (for example, to save certain results). Ad choices and consent are managed through the consent notices shown in the app where required by law.
6. Intellectual property
The Voxly name, logo, designs, and software (excluding your content and third-party components under their own licenses) belong to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.
7. Disclaimers
Voxly is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Audio processing results depend on your device, input quality, and settings, and are not guaranteed to meet any particular expectation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Voxly in the twelve months before the claim (or nothing, if you used only the free version).
9. Termination
We may restrict Pro features if a purchase is refunded, revoked, or found fraudulent. You may stop using Voxly at any time by uninstalling it, which also removes its on-device data.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. The “Last updated” date above will always reflect the current version. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
