Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Voxly app (“Voxly”, “we”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Voxly is an Android voice changer and audio toolkit. Most audio processing happens directly on your device.
1. Information processed on your device (never sent to us)
Voice recordings, imported audio files, text you type, and the audio Voxly generates (effects, text-to-speech, denoised or speed-adjusted results) are processed locally on your phone. We operate no servers that receive your audio, and we never upload your recordings.
2. Information collected automatically
To operate, advertise, and improve the app, the following third-party SDKs embedded in Voxly may collect limited data automatically:
- Google AdMob (advertising): device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), approximate location (derived from IP), app interaction and ad performance data, used to show and measure ads. Consent choices are collected where required (Google User Messaging Platform).
- Firebase Analytics: aggregated, pseudonymous app usage events (for example, which features are opened) used to understand and improve the app. No audio content is included.
- Firebase Crashlytics: crash reports and device diagnostics (device model, OS version, app version, stack traces) used to fix stability issues. No audio content is included.
- Google Play Billing: purchase and subscription status (managed entirely by Google Play) used to unlock Pro features. We never see or store your payment details.
- Google Play Review: used only if you choose to rate the app; governed by Google Play policies.
Each provider processes this data under its own privacy policy (Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy commitments). This website itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers.
3. Information you provide directly
- Feedback form (optional): if you use Settings → Feedback, the title and message you type are sent so we can read and respond to your report. Please do not include sensitive personal information.
- Support email: if you contact support.voxlyapp@gmail.com, we receive your email address and message content in order to help you.
4. Permissions and why Voxly needs them
- Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): to record your voice for effects. Recording only happens when you press record.
- Audio/media files (READ_MEDIA_AUDIO, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older Android): to let you pick audio from your library.
- Internet: to load ads, check purchases, fetch voices for text-to-speech, and send feedback you choose to submit.
5. Storage and retention
Audio you create is stored on your device (app cache and the shared Music/Voxly and Downloads folders when you save or download it). Voxly does not keep copies on any developer server. In-app settings and Pro entitlement status are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes its local data; files you saved to shared folders remain until you delete them yourself.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only as described above: with Google services that power ads, analytics, crash reporting, billing, and review flows, and when you explicitly share a file using Android's system share sheet (which sends it to the app you choose).
7. Your rights and deletion
You can delete audio you created at any time from your device or music library, and you can uninstall the app to remove its local data. To request deletion of anything you sent us (for example a feedback message), or for any privacy question, email support.voxlyapp@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Children
Voxly is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The “Last updated” date above will always reflect the current version. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
